You should have a mirror with a handle available at your booth whether you’re working the biggest gem show in the world or working from just a tiny room in your home. It is one of your most important tools. I cannot stress this enough, the mirror actually becomes part of the sale itself and if you don’t have one it will cost you. You can get a nice one at any dollar store or dollar tree store for just a buck or two. The trick is to get your customer to try on the cameo to see what it looks like. So don’t forget a cheap thin gold plated or silver plated chain to do this you will need them.

A great display item for your cameo collection would be a large cameo carved directly on the whole seashell.
