During my Re/max real estate years in Houston, each agent had a “farm area” where we deposited flyers in mailboxes once a month. The flyers had all sorts of information about real estate sales. Some people groaned andsaid it was TOO MUCH and too often. But who do you think they called when it was time to sell their house? That’s right! It was Re/max to the rescue. We had put our name in front of people so often that when they thought “real estate,” they automatically thought “Re/max.”
You can do the same thing! Become the jewelry expert in your neighborhood. Circulate flyers that have your sales information, but include tips on jewelry care and cleaning, gift-giving ideas, or “Buyer Beware” warnings.
